Hypnotherapy Fees and Costs in Sydney
A 60-minute hypnotherapy session with Diana Joy costs $210, and a 90-minute session costs $260. The same fees apply in person in Balmain and online.

What session should I choose?
I recommend booking 90 minutes for your first session so we have time to talk through what's happening, do the therapy itself and practical next steps. If you are booking to change a habit such as nail biting, smoking or drinking, then book an hour for your first session.
If you are doing EMDR then we will need 90 minutes for a session as the EMDR is always followed by hypnotherapy and somatic work to help integrate the EMDR.
Otherwise, most people book one hour sessions either weekly or once a fortnite until the work is done.
Cancellation Policy
I really don't enjoy charging for last minute cancellations - but I do. I ask for 48 hours notice for a cancellation. It allows me time to rebook your spot. The full fee is due on a cancellation. If there has been a genuine emergency - I will waive the fee.
Medicare
Medicare is only available to psychology or psychiatry, it doesn't cover hypnotherapy or psychotherapy.
Do you Offer On-line Sessions?
i can do hypnotherapy on-line, while you wear headphones, or in-person at my Balmain practise. Other therapies such as somatic work can only be done in person. EMDR can also be done on-line, but I much prefer to see you in person if that's possible. For rural clients - on-line may be the only option. On-line sessions cost the same.
