Weight Loss Hypnotherapy: Change Your Relationship With Food

Weight Loss Hypnotherapy: When Knowing What to Do Isn’t Enough
Is there part of you that wants to lose weight and another who sabotages you? We can help identify the saboteur and help disempower him or her and strengthen the part of you that is on board and determined. Hypnotherapy is a great way of helping you lose the weight you wish to lose. It can get 'all of you' on board.
Hypnotherapy works with your unconscious mind to help you increase your determination, help break old patterns and create healthier ones. It can give you the confidence and sustained commitment for healthier living. If you can feel, see and imagine the goal with absolute clarity you will have a greater chance of success. We work with finding the 'value' in change or losing weight, not willpower. Willpower driven diets have been proven to fail over and over again. You end up yo-yoing. When you can bring about a fundamental shift in your relationship to self, and see the value in the change in habits, then you can move forward in a healthy balanced way.
Hypnosis will make suggestions to accentuate the value and strengthen your determination and self. I use a combination of hypnotherapy, NLP and somatic work to help you. The NLP works with re-mapping your brain so you can envisage and bring a positive spin to your journey. The hypnosis will take you into a state of relaxed trance where we by-pass the mind and speak to the unconscious. Our unconscious, has inherent beliefs which we may not even be aware of. These have been created by an entire lifetime of events, from our childhood to our adult selves. By working directly with the unconscious and changing your patterns, we can bring about profound change. Given 95% of our decision making is made by our unconscious it makes sense to speak to it if you want to change your size.
Weight Loss Hypnotherapy: When Knowing What to Do Isn’t Enough
For many people, weight loss is not simply a matter of knowing what to eat. You may understand nutrition perfectly well, make sensible choices all day and still find yourself reaching for food when you are stressed, lonely, bored, overwhelmed or exhausted. Comfort eating often has very little to do with physical hunger. Over time, the brain can learn to associate food with relief, reward, distraction or emotional safety, creating an automatic pattern that can be difficult to change through willpower alone. Hypnotherapy can help by working with the unconscious associations and learned responses that sit beneath these habits, helping to loosen the link between uncomfortable emotions and the urge to eat. The aim is not to make you afraid of food or impose rigid control, but to help you develop a calmer, more conscious relationship with eating, so that food can return to being food rather than the place you automatically go to manage how you feel.

There are times when we need a hand to achieve our goals. You may wish to be a different size or may have health issues that require you to lose weight. I will work holistically with you.
Hypnotherapy can be combined with an eating program of your choice, exercise program, examining your daily routine to identify when you are most likely to bust out of your weight loss program and putting tools in place to assist you.
I recommend that you have either seen a dietician or have selected your weight loss program before we start. If you haven't checked for insulin resistance, please do.
When you can enjoy eating a healthy diet, rather than 'making yourself', is when you are going to really succeed.

TESTIMONIAL
Losing weight has been a battle since I was 17. It seemed like I was on a never ending treadmill. Diana worked in a really deep way with me that completely changed my relationship to food. For the first time ever I actually enjoyed eating healthy food and I have even given up sugar, something I hadn't been able to do before. I have lost twenty kilos in six months and I feel really optimistic that I can lose another ten. I am so grateful to have help on this journey.
